After
a speech detailing the benefits of Fortunate living, artist GORDY
GRUNDY spoke of the clear vision and dedication of
a remarkable woman. |

LINDA PACE graciously accepts the 'Paragon of the Fine Arts' Award for her significant contribution to the contemporary arts. As Fortuna makes it's World Debut, Pace is the very first, of what will be a distinctive few, to receive such an exclusive recognition. Well deserved. |

Celebrating its Tenth Anniversary, ARTPACE has become a local landmark
and an international beacon. |
Then
suddenly the Fortuna Tribal Drum Squad began
to play. Two bonfires exploded with sparks and roared to life, perfuming
the air with incense. The
Wraiths of Fortuna, a contemporary
dance company, began to twirl like mad dervishes. It was all sound,
sight and passion. And a little alcohol. |
